Electroless Nickel Plating
Tough, corrosion resistant, and with accurate, uniform thickness
Why use electroless nickel plating?
Electroless-nickel plating (electroless plating) offers a uniform, hard finish with high level of corrosion resistance. It is ideal for automotive parts, valves, pumps and components that come into contact with chemicals.
How does electroless nickel plating work?
Electroless nickel plating (EN) uses a chemical reducing agent containing phosphorus to react with the metal ions to deposit a layer of nickel, rather than by passing an electric current through a solution. Unlike immersion plating techniques, this auto-catalytic chemical technique creates an exceptionally even and uniform thickness on both metal and non-conductive materials.
Choose your electroless nickel plating thickness
Electroless-nickel plating can be requested with thicknesses of between 5 and 100µm.
